Being There by Dave Furman, Free for CaPC Members
Dave Furman’s Being There is intended to help us navigate life with those who are suffering.
The Obama family values are the topic of discussion as Tyler and Drew chat with Rachel Horner Starke about her recent article, “Obama, Cosby, and America’s Black Family.” The trio discuss Obama’s policies and his family values. Drew, Tyler, and Rachel discuss the example President Obama has set as a husband and father and how that compares to the family values of current political candidates. They chat about the importance of recognizing truth and goodness in others when it is apparent as well as how we might promote gospel values when they are not shared or even contradicted in the political realm.
