For creators and the participants both, there lies a danger in loving a story to its own detriment. A perverse love fails to love a story for the good within it, but rather desires it to go on and on, never ending.

I’m always happy to find stories that acknowledge the difficulty of living in community with others and show how we can live out (even in stumbling ways) manners of living peaceably with all.

While mid-life crises are notorious in our contemporary age for dramatic grasps at youth, Poehler shows us a more productive conclusion, albeit one still lacking.
