Want to join the Christ and Pop Culture team?

We’re looking for a new podcast producer who feels confident and excited about producing audio content on the intersection of the Christian faith and popular culture. In particular, we’re looking for someone who can edit and produce several podcasts per week on the Christ and Pop Culture Podcast Network. This person will manage CAPC podcasts, coordinate with hosts to schedule interviews, spotlight CAPC member offerings, and edit and publish several shows per week.

Here are some of the things we’re looking for in a prospective podcast producer:

  • A commitment to what is commonly referred to as “conservative evangelical theology.” That includes, but is not limited to, the infallibility of scripture, justification by faith alone, original sin, the historicity of the crucifixion and resurrection, and a  commitment to the local church.
  • A creative perspective for realizing CAPC’s mission and vision through audio content.
  • A desire and ability to produce podcasts accessible and relevant to the average listener.
  • An interest in working a few hours a week (4-5) with little compensation.

The CAPC Podcast Producer will be a part of an active and dynamic community of writers, editors, and members who sharpen and encourage one another in their work. Though we can’t provide much in terms of compensation, we hope to make up in the opportunity to build a portfolio of quality audio content.

Christ and Pop Culture is in the midst of an exciting season of change. This is a make-or-break time for CAPC, and we’re looking for a podcast producer who is excited to be a significant part of our growth and change.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, just email us at christandpopculture@gmail.com with the subject line “CAPC Podcast Producer”. Include some information about yourself, three examples of your work (via URL or copy/pasted into the email), and a brief description of your most valued theological beliefs.
