I actually didn’t mind the quote because it’s true—the V.A.T.S. headshots do look pretty awesome and really do make something mundane in the video game world much more interesting. The Bloody Mess perk tends to make V.A.T.S. far less worthwhile though in that kind of sense (since basically wherever you shoot the whole body erupts).
