Remember Death by Matthew McCullough, Free for CAPC Members
Matthew McCullough suggests that death awareness allows us to find joy in the problems of this world.
Quentin Tarantino is back with another period piece, this time set in Hollywood during the closing days of the 1960s. Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie lead a cast that retells the events surrounding the Manson murders of 1969, particularly the tragic killing of actress Sharon Tate, in Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood (note the position of the ellipsis). Wade and Kevin also offer their review of the indie film Them That Follow, which tells a story that is right up Seeing & Believing’s alley: a pastor’s daughter finds herself at a crossroads when it comes to her Appalachian community’s Pentecostal snake-handling ways.
