Obama’s going to be on the Tonight Show Thursday. Is this a sign that he’s desperate to appeal to a certain faction of America, or simply another way he’s seeking to run a transparent government?

  1. Was Bush appearing at an elementary school a desperate bid to cater to a certain segment of the culture at large? Probably not. This too seems more like business as usual, running some circuit of press ops.
