Um, your Halo’s Already Gone.
Ryan Tedder slyly sold Kelly Clarkson and Beyoncé the same song – Well, kind of… This isn’t too scandalous, at least for the respective singers, though it does expose a little of how the pop music industry works. Is good art even possible in this context?

Lesson learned methinks. I don’t think Kelly Clarkson at least will be “collaborating” with this guy again. It’s not really that great a track even…but i think her lyrics being a little faster mean that alot of people wouldn’t have noticed. I have respect for Clarkson’s attempt to prevent the release of the single out of respect for Beyonce but (it seems) the record didn’t really care…
So much for exclusive rights!
