  1. I’m still not sure why this is an issue for Christians. It seems like the church is doing itself more harm than it’s doing the world good when it dogmatizes over what amounts to little more than a semantic issue.

    Civil unions are legal and binding, no? This Prop 8 business is just about changing the CA state constitution to more narrowly define its understanding of marriage. Whatever. This is even a step down from Christians picketing The Last Temptation of Christ.
