Russell Moore, Dean of Theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, asks the question: Are you sure Fox News is Conservative?

  1. Russell Moore is clearly using a different meaning of conservative than is usually meant when people say Fox News is conservative. While Moore is using the term in a moral sense (to support a morality that we thing of as being the old morality), everyone else is using the term—with respect to Fox News—in a political sense (for Fox supports a right-ish political agenda—one that has somehow picked up the descriptor, conservative).

    So Moore’s either being naive or he’s equivocating. Either way, he’s getting coal in his stocking this year.
