ELSEWHERE: Where Have All the Evangelicals Gone (in the legal elite)?
Have evangelicals withdrawn from the ranks of the lawyerly elite? Were we expelled? Do we even belong there – or are we doomed to hermetic fundamentalism, halfbaked bromides about the judgment of nations, and nonprofit public interest law firms like ADF and ACLJ? I wonder how many Evangelical 4-year colleges even have a robust pre-law program? My own Evangelical university has sent a few students on to law school, but it’s not a major focus here.
