Nice! Thanks for the link…although I’m curious to know if there is a particular reason it was posted on this site.
It’s a site about pop culture. So Rancid still fits the bill!

Oh for sure! I just didn’t know if there was a PARTICULAR connection to theology that I was missing. I didn’t realize till last night that it was them who sing Time Bomb. I really like there sound.
Oh yeah, from what I gather, the Of the Moment section of the site is just kind of a smelting pot of all the pop-cult folderol, a place to see what’s happening and what’s news. That section doesn’t have to have any overt ties to Christ or Christianity. So you’ll get things like “Rancid has a new album,” “Microsoft releases a motion thingy,” or “Watchmen trailer is up!”

Thanks for explaining that Dane. It is intersting of course that this older punk band is attempting a comeback. Their new release raises all sorts of questions in my own mind, like:
(1) What doe sit mean for a “punk” band to be mainstream?
(2) What is it about the punk rock “message” that still makes them relevant?
(3) And why now, does Rancid want to “come back?”
Oh, and by the way Tony, I always liked Time Bomb
Thanks for the clarification guys. I might even get this new album.
